<p>Mrs. Lebahn and the teacher work collaboratively on monthly book clubs- see attached list with photos. We have a celebration after each book is read independently at home.&nbsp; The students participate in discussion questions in small and large groups and play games as they review each book. <p>Mrs. Lebahn and the teacher work collaboratively on doing extensive research and preparing various projects on the U.S States, Rome and The 13 Colonies. One of the projects includes recreating a Viking Ship. They also introduce their first book club towards the end of the year for students to read independently at home. This helps [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Students research and learn about the culture and traditions of Ancient China in the classroom and the library. Some of the projects include learning Chinese writing, tastings, geography &amp; creating dragons for a parade- photos are included. The students also study Black History Month. Another research unit focuses on Greece. In this unit, students research [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Mrs. Lebahn assists teachers with research and projects on Pilgrims, Benjamin Franklin Puppets, Black History Month, Solar System and Egypt. The students participate in STEM centers and various thematic book centers which are aligned around the holidays or academic skills they are working on in the classroom.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Mrs. Lebahn works with the classroom teachers to help students with their Continents Unit. Students create art projects in the library and also receive passports.
